Work
So I just started working at a Restaurant/Cafe/Gelati in a very well known place this sunday. Waking up at 4am to catch the 5 train to start work at 6. Doing 10-12 hour shifts. depending on how busy it is or what time the next person comes in for their shift.
The people I work with are awesome. A very diverse team from Italy, France, England, Russia, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia and a couple of Australians. So I’m picking up accents and languages already. haha freaking fun! <3
I make the sandwiches, serve the gelati/ice creams, plate the cakes, prep the drinks for the waiters and also help take all that out if I have nothing to do/the waiters are busy. It’s pretty full on. But hey, I enjoy doing all of that. I am really aiming to manage a place like this or have one of my own.
Now, time to rest my body again for these 3 days I’m off. Xx
I slept for about 12 hours. Well, I got up to pray and feed the cat. and then slept a couple more hours then had brekky. Now, I’m awake but I think I’m going to be lazy on my day off of work and sleep again.
